Ahoj, my name is Lukas, and I'm glad you're visiting my shop. I am Czech and live in Poland.

Professionally and passionately, I roast coffee and collect Czech and Polish film posters. Privately, I am a huge fan of forests, movies, and rock and roll. Two years ago, I moved to Pieniny from London, where I had lived for 12 years and where I totally fell in love with coffee, passionately drinking it and learning about it hands-on as a barista in cafes, at markets, and festivals. Believe me, London wouldn't exist without caffeine.

In 2015, I opened "Subtitles," a cozy cinema cafe in the northeast of the city. We organized screenings of Czech films, exhibitions, and concerts by local artists there, and, of course, served the best coffee in the area.

Two years later, I joined Mission Coffee, where under the guidance of the best roasters, I learned to roast coffee, which completely captivated me and changed my perception of this extraordinary beverage. Coffee roasting, although it requires great precision, is still a magical process for me. Last year, my fiancée and I fulfilled our dream of living closer to nature and moved to Pieniny. We bought an old Mercedes converted into a coffee truck and set up a micro-roastery. We rented a small spot by Lake Czorsztyn, where the black Ahoj Kawka truck stood during the season, and where we sell locally roasted coffee.

It turned out that lovers of good americano are here too. Summer 2021 was a summer of countless new acquaintances, conversations about life, and powerful doses of caffeine for us. Satisfied customers gave us confidence that our coffee truly stands out. By buying coffee from us, you support a sustainable business. The farmers from whom we source our beans receive a fair price for their work, allowing them to truly care for the quality of their products.
