Sokolica is our recipe for a quick battery recharge - it's like a strong espresso. When you only have a few hours free, go there from Szczawnica, cross to the other side of the Dunajec with a raftsman, and take a short but steep climb to the summit. The view from the top is stunning and exhilarating. If you're in the Pieniny Mountains, be sure to visit Sokolica with a thermos of good coffee in your backpack.
